Cashbook, 9 May 1805-14 August 1811, with entries for banks including the Bank of North America, the Farmers & Mechanics Bank and the Bank of the United States, family expenses, postate, portage accounts and Insurance Office. There is mention of charges on merchandise including Indian rubber. V. 2, journal, 1 September 1842-31 December 1850, of bills payable and receivable and expenses, including properties, furniture, stocks for the Commercial Transportation Company, tenants and a building contrator. Allentown Iron Works and the North East Gold Mining Compnay are also mentioned.
